Prince is my favorite Artist, he still looks and sounds great, but he's almost 50. Of course this doesn't mean that he's about to retire ( I could never imagine), but what do y'all want from him? Prince is an icon. How many of his generation have this status? I keep seeing posts saying that he needs to write these lyrics, etc, etc. I'm not saying that we shouldn't express our dislikes, but this aint 1979! The only thing that I want is a tour!! LOL

He needs to lay off the hair dye now and just let it go grey.

My friend (who isn't a Prince fan) brought this up yesterday. He said, how old is Prince and I said almost 50. He was like, no he's not! Isn't he thirty something?

Anyway that proves how good he looks for his age.But the funny this was he said,

"Dang, in about 5 years he'll be eligible for senior citizen dicounts at Hardee's!"

The passage of time affects the Violet Mite too. Imagine that.

Back to the topic....Prince looks incredibly good and should keep dying his hair because it´s up to him how he wants to look.

Speaking of young looking celebrities...Sylvester Stallone also looks incredibly young for his age, full hair and everything, totally in shape etc.


Those two should hook up and write a book, the Sly/Prince diet or something.

The good thing about him is that he's almost 50 and he doesn't let age stop him. A lot of older artists like to get all boring and adult contemporary. Prince can still throw down the rock and the ass shakin' funk (which is more than I can say about these young people today who never get past midtempo). As long as he can still shake it, let him shake it. And when he no longer can shake it standing on his feet, let him shake it on his walker.

Age ain't nothing but a number and you are only ready for a rest home if you think you are. Otherwise, do it till you can't do it no more.
