I was so disapointed when Emancipation came out, and he still called the band NPG, but it was a total diff. line up, (-not that it was bad, but to me the real NPG was those 4 guys, with the master on vox and guitar !) when will we ever see/hear that again ? it was magic !! I think Sonny T brought that out in him and his writing. I totally agree.. it seemed like everyone was equal in that band, even P, he was just the leadsinger, guitarplayer and a regular band member, just like the others, and it was Michaels,Sonnys, Toms and Morris's band, as much as it was P's band.. the other thing was that you could feel that the knew eachother VERY well, they were a family and it seemed like loved playin' 2gether, that you could feel !
