Any suggestions on P's eventual new web site name?? You know he's gonna have one. I think he's in a funk over it and needs help.

I have one suggestion but it's kind of radical. Maybe it could have the name Prince in it.

Something like PrinceOfficial.com, but shorter. Maybe PrinceGen.com (Gen for genuine/official site...could also be for Generation). Haven't really given the name thought but I have always felt that the lack of Prince in the official Prince site title wasn't the best move. It's a good way to lose potential visitors.

Anyway, web name isn't something you change (unless you have to). You change the layout but not the address. That's like changing your telephone number. Never good for business.

Personally, and I ain't no one, I've changed my website name 3 times already.

I've changed my phone number too. It's like "don't call us we'll call you", that I understand personally is prince's favorte motto, but anyway.

It's just something he does. Before the Music Cult there was love4oneanother.

That he doesn't own it? If so, I never said that. Maybe he does. I have no idea. What I suggested is maybe he sits on it but doesn't use it because of potential issues with the other Prince (The spaghetti people).

I don't doubt that you have changed your webname. Doesn't mean that it's a good idea. Acquiring new names that all link back to the official is ok but to abandon one for something new, isn't.

That's why the timeless name is best.
