The death of my mother in '97. Changed my entire life completely.

When my cousin became mentally ill that really changed me. Also when my friend's brother killed himself I think my life changed.

Signing a recording contract.

Last years Celebration-June '01. I am forever changed from that week forward! My friends and family will tell you, I am not completely different, but you can definetly tell there has been a change. It wasnt the Celebration itself...it was in and around that time the that moment happened. I was basically stressed out from working so much and I really had an actual vacation for awhile. My friend needed another member to buy the ticket that other friend ended up not being able to afford I guess. My friend worked with me and knew what crap I had been putting up with at work.

I am so thankful that I had the chance and opportunity to experience such an awesome ride! The concerts were awesome and I got to meet other Prince fans and I got to tour Prince's place. But the thing I am most grateful for is the time I had...time(meaning the silent time-meaning-being able to hear myself think and not having everybody elses opinions being thrown towards me).

I got the time to focus on me and what was important to me and I got to figure out who I was and what I was determinded to become.When I got home from the trip, I continued to progress with the new me. I love life even more than I did then and I am happy with being the person I am today! I am more confident and I have learned that its wonderful to help out others, but I should never forget that I am important too and that I need to make sure that I ok too!

Strangely enough, waiting overnight for Cure tickets (Wish tour in '92) was a pivotal night in my life. I was 16. I went alone to get tickets for me and a friend (as she was at the junior prom. yuck!) and through meeting some people, talking, feeling the fabulous way you do when you're young, have barely a care in the world and loving the way friendships can form over a 15 minute conversation, my life started heading in a different direction. I can trace it all the way back to that particular night.

When I had a life saving operation in '95, it made me look at life and how special it is.

Sometimes I think I never actually woke up. Strange...

Had several, but I guess my divorce right now is a "real life changer" 4 me. i have 2 b independent after quite a few years, plus, i married early and never actually was on my own long, and NOW i am actually looking forward 2 it! Lots 2 learn and experience.
