Crystal Ball Tour Book Remember this little picture book from back in 88? It was kind of like a Lovesexy Tourbook only it was called Crystal Ball. Does anyone know who wrote the "storyline"? I think Uptown was responsible for "publishing" the book; but who wrote it? Not A Newbie, Just Reinvented

I think I know what you mean, but it wasn't Uptown, I think it was British wasn't it?
It had a pic from the Lovesexy tour shot of him with the glasses and the round-rimmed black hat. This shoot: [Edited 7/13/06 9:56am]

The Revolution was a fan club. They also had a shop in Otley which I visited a few times and bought some nice Japanese imports!
Unfortunately The Revolution was also the fan club that ripped off fans by falsely advertising an event by making out Prince would be there (I seem to remember they used the words "Prince invites you to.....") when there was no involvement with Prince or his people at all. Lots of fans never got their money back from that scam.

Though I recall something that said Joey Coco and the Dream Factory on it. I recall it was a record. Does this ring a bell with anyone. That has to be one of my favorite pics of him! Thank You so very much. I'd forgotten about those dry little, non glossy, typed up, fanzines that Crystal Ball produced. I have several of them around here somewhere (I wonder if they're worth anything?). But I didn't know about "The Collective". Some very interesting stories in that second thread. Thank you again. To everyone else, yes, those pictures are from the book I was talking about. Thanx for your help. Not A Newbie, Just Reinvented
