My apologies, for some reason the text from my original post didn't get saved ( that'll teach me to try and start a thread ).....here it is ..

I'm interested to know which tunes orgers think are Prince's masterpieces i.e. tunes that display true genius and that only the little guy could have created. I'm not just talking good songs, or even great songs, but those rare tracks ( if you can think of more than 10 you're probably casting the net too wide) that cause you to think "Where the fuck did that come from?" ( again, in a good way...not in a "Ronnie Talk to Russia" way ). My first stab at such a list is ( in chronological order):
