I just received the "Sign O The Times" movie on DVD as a Brazilian import. I got it for about 20.00 off of E-Bay. My thoughts :
It's defenitely an official release at least in Brazil. It has the usual stuff like menus, biography (in portuguese), picture and album gallery. Everything looks attractive and well done. Now as far as the picture and sound. It was obviously not mastered from the best possible sources since the picture was slightly dark and grainy and had lots of specks. Especially during "U got the Look", it looked pretty bad. It has dolby digital 5.0 , but I can't comment on that since my system doesn't have those capabilities. For unintentional laughs activate the english subtitles because what's subtitled isn't exactly what's said on the screen! At one point during "Forever in my Life" Bonnie Boyer is renamed Buddy Voyer?? Anyways this is worth getting since a domestic may never materialize.
