Back in April, if I recall correctly, when Black Sweat was recently released as a single there were already some bootleg vinyl remixes on online record stores..... after a simple search thru P2P I came across something that seems to belong to an "album" called 3121 remix.... there are at least 3 or 4 remixes of Black Sweat, including one that's titled "Dr, Fink's extended Kraftwerk remix"... I have heard one of those mixes called "Caruso Hot Thing in Da Beat Remix"... It mixes the distorted bassline from Hot Thing into the song along with some other stuff.... While the remix isn't exactly mindblowingly good it's still rather tastefully done and it highlights the similarities between Black Sweat and Hot Thing.... Also it proves that Black Sweat should have gotten the maxi single treatment it deserves..... Any thoughts on this? Has anyone else heard these (or other) remixes of 3121 stuff?

I expect it's obvious to state that these are not official remixes, just remixes by fan DJs. I have no problem with such remixes as long as people know what they are getting and they don't think they have the seal of approval from Prince or anything.

Which P2P program did you use? I haven't found anything on Limewire.. I'm VERY interested in this and would very much like to hear Black Sweat remixes

Yep, theres some good Black Sweat remixes. Caruso's Hot Thing one is my favorite, it's awesome. The Kraftwerk mix ain't that great though.

There's a remix of "3121" and a remix of "Love" that came out around the same time too.

Hrm. I was able to get the Caruso Hot Thing remix, but I can't find any of the others... bleh I've been wanting 3121 remixes ever since the album came out, its frustrating to know that they're out there and I just can't find em.
