Are U Addicted to Prince!. love him or hate him, he's like a coke habit [not that i'd know!], when the Music club shut i went into 5 seconds of panic. Didn't go there much but was always nice to have the option. Anyways, are you an addict?, here r the signs:-
constantly bang on about the good ole' days but still buy EVERTHING new he does! not able to go 1 day without listening to him? incapable of not logging into the org or other sites at least once per day! personally want to kill anyone 'outside the purple circle' who criticises him start 2 write things like 'just4u' etc. still wear the stuff u thought was a good idea to buy at the gigs i.e. '88 Lovesexy T that fit great then but now just shows your gut!! Come now, don't be afraid, the first step is to admit the addiction!!!. By the way, i am truly an addict. | |

One of the most cringeworthy things I did was take every Prince newspaper and magazine cutting I could find and stick them in scrapbooks, I must have 4 or 5 of them. I'm glad I did though because they're a very good read after all these years.  | |

I am choosing to be a more distant fan. Some of the behavior that I've seen Prince and his camp exhibit are not qualities that I would look for in friends or acquaintances, why should I accept that behavior from a person that I don't even know (really) But I have. We all have because for some reason (many reasons) we are drawn to him and his music and his community of fans. There are a bunch of things that piss me off about P. If you never get angried by the guy than I think something is wrong with you or you're just not being real. Being a fan to me does not mean blind idolatry. I'm just sharing my feelings. And sometimes Prince can wear your nerves! And that's REAL. I AM BEATLOAF
