Alot of homophobes that dont REALLY follow Prince out there think that hes gay anyways there will always be haters. If Prince was GAY yes it would make a difference his songs are all about SEX and women him being GAY wouldnt make him PRINCE.Id love him reagrdless for this artistry, but him being gay would go against him in alot of ways.

The music would be the same. The lyrics might have the other gender or none at all, but that'd likely have been the only difference.

As for public appeal, most of the general public already think he's gay, so it wouldn't make any difference.

I dont think so, i think with the religious ideas that are in his music he would be very closeted. I think if he was gay he would be more self loathing and thus probably more anti gay oriented.
