Which unreleased song do you think could be a "hit" today? It doesn't have to be exactly what is circulating.

I pick I Wonder. Something about this song -- its simplicity and earnest vocals -- makes it an immediate grabber.The version I have has very poor sound, but it still shines brightly... One thing I noticed about the hits I care for is that they are still captivating and distinctive when played at a low volume. This one fits the bill perfectly...

As far as my infinitive speculative tendencies go I'll have to say...uhmmm, fuck! In today's musical climate? That's hard. "Empty Room" perhaps but there hasn't been a truly melancholic ballad on the charts for ages. Well at least "Hard To Get" could get played on VIVA2!

Fuck, I say release "Wet Dream's Cousin" and make a stupid video for it with clumsy animation characters and the Brits will be buying it like marmite!

It doesn't bother me that Prince has had no hits in recent years, but I was listening to some old stuff and it struck me some of the unreleased songs have some chart potential today, give or take a production upgrade or two.
