I'm game! I understand what you mean about these being 2 of the most debated. They're not universally loved or hated and they mark a strange turn in his career. These 2 along with "Come" are the underrated albums of his that I love the most. Here are my picks.
ATWIAD vs The Future (One of my very favorite Prince songs) Paisley Park vs Electric Chair (a tough one cuz I love 'em both) Condition of the Heart vs The Arms of Orion (One of his very greatest ballads) Raspberry Beret vs Partyman (both perfect pop singles) Tamborine vs Vicki Waiting (got a big soft spot for this one) America vs Trust (on the strength of its 12" mix) Pop Life vs Lemon Crush (I'm one of the few that really likes Lemon Crush though) The Ladder vs Scandalous (The Ladder's fallen off for me in recent years) Temptation vs Batdance (By a long shot...perhaps his weirdest song) BONUS CHALLENGE She's Always in My Hair vs 200 Balloons (I know I'm weird for saying this but TIE) Hello vs Feel U Up (kickass funky little song) Girl vs I Love U,In Me (SEXY!)
