Sorry Prince but you need radio It's not like Prince hasn't been trying to promote 3121 lately. He's been on AI, Good Morning America, and the BET Awards. The aftermath of those performances were about 5-7k copies sold. Which goes to show there's no promotion like heavy rotation on the radio.
I'm not even it's all P's fault. Some of his songs may not be radio-friendly, but some are. He just gets no play anymore. | |

I believe 3121 isn't available as a download only - not on Itunes or anything yet? In this day and age, that is a big market. 3121 selling nigh on half-a-million PHYSICAL CDs is pretty good in this day and age. Maybe it will pick up once online - if it ever does, that is. Prince never seems to play the obvious marketing game, which makes him more interesting as an artist and person, but harms his sales. | |
