What's the closest any of you have come to meeting Prince.....???

i have hugged Jerome and TonyM and almost got run over by Mayte, who was running towards the tour bus once to avoid the fans....oh and I danced on stage with Morris Day. Does all this count as getting close to P?....in my world it does!!

Mayte and Prince brushed right past me after one of the "Today Show" tapings. I have been lucky enough to be front and center or front and side several times over the years. I touched his silver sequined shoe once while two other girls were rubbing his legs up to his thigh and he let them while he played guitar in front of us. I also went to 8 shows in 2004 and was between the first and sixth row everytime. That is what was great about NPGMC. I hope those presales continue with the new club that is sure to come.

And I forgot to mention that one time he directed me to touch Larry Graham's bass guitar. He was talking to me and he said "Go ahead. Touch it." So I did.

I've gotten as close as being separated by a 240 lb security guard, 3 feet of space and his then wife Mayte.

meeting prince

Sitting on the edge of the stage @ the Louisville Palace during the ONA tour. Probably about 20 ft from him at his piano. That was a major highlight for me cuz he was singin sometimes it snows in april while I was sitting onstage.

April 2002 soundcheck-Prince spoke with a woman sitting right behind me.

I live in Finland, and he has been to Sweden and Denmark. That's about the closest I've ever gotten.

Prince was to appear in a local wrecka stow with The Time and Vanity 6.Supposedly, he blew out his ankle and cancelled his appearance.Of course I was disappointed as hell,but I got autographs and photos of The Time and Vanity 6,so it was still cool,I guess..At Lovesexy tour,my seat was close enough 4 Prince 2 notice my outfit, which was covered with my collection of Prince Buttons(I had Hundreds)The look on his beautiful face was priceless! I was close enough 2 c the bobby pins in his hair! Ooh,LovePrince!Lovesexy!

The closest I ever got to meeting Prince was when I told Larry to leave me the fuck alone.

He came to my door once preaching about Jehova.
