Somewhat. I knew one kid who really went all out trying to look like him during 1984/85 -- the hair, makeup, clothes, etc. Sad thing he was treated like an outcast, but cool thing that he found someone he could identify with and relate to.

i tried to prince's heels. i never wore heels more than one inch, but becuase of him, i wore once to school and that's it.
