Prince seemed to think that "Rave" was a little too close to "Kiss" at the time, and therefore didn't release it until later.

That could be his own revisionist history though since Tim Burton rejected it for the Batman album.

Wat? how could u say none of the songs on the batman soundtrack dont fit?
Partyman & Trust go with the jokers character, bouncy, full of life etc, even Electric Chair goes with him, "If a man is consider too guilty for wat goes on in his mind & u need the electric chair for all my future crimes" it works with both Joker & Batman both have guilty feelings in their mind Batman wants revenge for his parents death, and Joker is just a bad ass
The Future is a dark song setting the stone for the whole movie "I've seen the future and boy its ruff"
Scandalous is telling the story of the "love triangle" between Batman, Joker & Vicki they both will do nything for her even if it means sumthin scandalous like trashing a place for Vicki in hopes 2 get her attention.
The Arms Of Orion is probs the only song i cant find nything from the movie 2 go with it, but its a shit song so who cares haha
And Batdance oh my where to begin with Batdance haha

Beautiful Loved and Blessed has the same outro part as Illusion coma pimp&circumstance.
