..prince was a big fan of the matrix..which some found odd because it was around the same time that he was talking about the images we take in being just as real as having been there... he makes a reference to 'la dolce vida' and marcello mastrioni (sp?) in 'the good life..' there have also been a couple of 'wizard of oz' references in some older songs...'100 miles an hour' for one..there were more..but i can't think...maybe later... | |
