I just ordered a veggie (w/o cheese) pizza for dinner tonight from an old Sicilian joint down the street. It's called variety. Italian and many other mediterranians have cuisine with a wide variety of purely veggie options. For instance, they use olive oil in many case instead of butter.

Sounds good, but as I remember the story this particular pizza wasn't cheese-less! wink

Another good example of my point is being a Christian; it doesn't mean you don't sin, it just means you see christianity as the ideal.

But for someone who is only concerned about individual and personal choices, you seem to be getting your panties all twisted about what other people do.

Our president has a different idea about the rule of law than his own court appointees. Not everyone is in the same place in life.

you keep limiting vegetarianism to a moral discipline without acknowledging the point i'm trying to make, which is very simple and very established within society:

IF YOU EAT MEAT, YOU ARE NOT A VEGETARIAN. YOU MAY HAVE A VEGETARIAN DIET, BUT YOU ARE NOT A VEGETARIAN.

get it?

it has nothing to do with what kind of a person you are or how you view life. either you make a commitment or you don't. you can involve vegetarian meals in your diet for health reasons or for whatever reason you like, but that does not make you a vegetarian.

again, this has nothing to do with judgment or morality. it's a simple matter of definition.

let me repeat that, in bold:

again, this has nothing to do with judgment or morality. it's a simple matter of definition.

i eat a lot of vegan foods, but i don't call myself a vegan because i like eggs and dairy. however, i do not eat meat. ever. as such, i am defined as a vegetarian. i have no designs on becoming a vegan, so i don't define myself as such and i correct people when they call me a vegan.

it's just a simple matter of calling things what they are. nothing more. nothing less.

does that make any sense?

It was reported that salmon was served at his 3121 parties. And also M&M's with the symbol printed on them were served. And M&M's contain MILK. So he can't be vegan any more.

I HOPE he's not vegetarian. What few veg's I knew DIDN'T LIKE THE MENU,in other ways than one. Picky, dull,no energy, and boring in bed with no passion. Don't tell me he wears high heeled Birkenstocks!!

he's been seen eating chicken and fish - he also served sushi (raw fish) at his 3121 "purple ticket" party this year. i think his vegan days are behind him.

....in other words, Prince has a no red meat diet. Well that helps.

Just curious, where is Prince at with this these days? I know with Mayte, he was eating very healthy with no animal products..."nothing with parents". Anyone know?

Eating no animal products doesn't necessarily mean you're eating healthy...

For example: Are the fruits & veggies organic? biggrin
