The Muppet Show - Prince Appearance

I just watched Prince's 1990s Emancipation-era appearance on The Muppet Show.

Wow, there is something really magical about that episode.

I loved his performance of "Starfish and Coffee" with the Muppets backing him.

And his performance of "She Gave Her Angels" has given me a whole new appreciation for that song, that easily gets lost within the Crystal Ball LP (why wasn't it on Emancipation, I don't know!).

If you haven't seen The Muppet Show episode, I highly recommend it. Prince seems so happy and full of joy in it, magical stuff. Magical.

and to be fair it was one of the first albums that he felt obliged to promote himself.
I sometimes feel that the death of his child just seemed to get in the way of what he was trying to do to sell the album.
His child died(which was tragic) but i always thought Prince was just so determined to promote the album.
Look at the Oprah interview imo that was just pathetic,i mean in all honesty why would Mayte still love him when he put his career before his baby.
I love Prince and his music but i do feel he wanted to promote Emancipation so much thta nothing was going to stand in his way.
im sorry but thtas just how i feel about the subject,
peace.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

Before I even knew anything about Prince being on the Muppet Show, in fact, before it even aired - a press pic of Prince in overalls with a piece of hay hanging out of his mouth, had leaked onto the AOL message boards.

The first time I saw it, I was like "What the f#%$?!?!", "Nooooo Prince Nooooo!!!!" LOL
