A great classic Prince movie and an amazing song! The acting is not the greatest, but who cares? Some funny dialogues and a perfect, very emotional ending. Gotta love it!  | |

cute.  but the purple color is indelible and fast and that's the way i like it.
spiritually speaking: purple goes with authority, prestige, depth and self awareness. many thanks my dear but u can send ur oxi-clean back to the store for a refund, or use it for ur own needs. i love you for who you are, not the one u feel u need to be.

Atlanta 85 / Syracuse 85 / Madrid 90 / Lovesexy 88 are all far superior in quality, although I do love the Rave Performance of PR, especially the sorrowful guitar intro
I also have a boot of him doing Purple Rain and Auld Lang Syne together which is kinda freaky!!! 
Purple Rain is the pinnacle of Princes career, it is what every non fan will know him for and possibly go down in history like All Along The Watchtower did for Hendrix (I know Dylan wrote it before anyone says )
On top of that, great movie, sad acting but who cares !! Some cool merchandise to go with it and a wicked soundtrack followed by some amazingly cool concerts. | |

I like listening to it every once in a while, sometimes I find it to be very moving..when I was younger I thought the song was amazing but I can't say it is one of his songs I listen to alot. | |
