For You wins easily! But you left off Burn This Disco Out from Off The Wall, which is it's best song by far, and better than alot of For You songs!

I don't think Off the Wall is a 'debut' album.
MJ had some other solo albums when he was younger.

I like Prince infinitely more than MJ, but I like Off The Wall infinitely more than For You.

Off The Wall.

Off the wall is my joint. Sometimes change is not so good. MJ venturing off into Popland was good for a moment in time but now he has nowhere left to go but down. People are so used to the over the top production from him that he can no longer come with tracks written by Floetry. too little too late to come back to your roots now. Who says you can never go home? I do.

Nah you can't front on the Off The Wall album. Its better than For You. For You has its place, but Off the Wall is classic. Now Sign O' The Times crushes the Bad album but you gotta give this one to Off The Wall. Keep in mind what you are really comparing is young naive Prince and Quincy Jones who was a superb producer and musician, combining forces with a Michael Jackson during his vocal prime. Off The Wall would triumph everytime at that point in P's career.

Converted a friend of mine to Prince a few months ago after I explained that there were no instruments or other singers on the "For You" single.

Wicked shit but Off the Wall was a monster fucking masterpiece.
I'm no Michael Jackson fan, but an avid fan of good "music" Off the Wall was a beautiful piece of music.
