Prince isn't really filfthy is he.
He might throw out a few naughty words, but usually whenever he tries to be overtly erotic, it comes off as unintentionally hilarious and camp - mucho comedy value in stuff like 'Do Me, Baby'. The only song where the erotica made me gip was the slurping noises in Come, and then that was so over the top: imagining Prince in full regalia of lackered typhon hair-do and Joan Crawford make-up going down on a girl - I think we as listeners probably got the thin end of the wedge - Imagine being the lady in question and having to look at that coming towards your private joy. | |
