It was played at a few aftershows in '88, but the most famous version is the one from the Trojan Horse gig.

I love the "Het Paard van Troje" intro to People Without; "We do this next one in the dark..."

Then those lovely gloomy keyboard soundscapes... and then when the song takes off with drum you can hear either Sheila or Cat (I think Cat) shout 'Turn onn the lights!'

Amazing song. Probably sounds lame as a studio version. He is not allowed to EVER release a studio version of that.

Ya never know. It could be a really cool electro Camille-ish type song.

Remember hearing Blues In C. live from Dortmund, then the demo of If I Had A Harem surfacing a few years later? I do. Not bad, but DIFFERENT. Weird.

Yeah.

I wonder if the studio version of "Xenophobia" would suck.

There is a fake of it around... Just some dude with an acoustic guitar.

The real studio outtake, however, is that one with those slinky percussion sounds, etc.

Yep. The Work has both versions - the sound-a-like and the studio outtake. The fake track sounds like some fan who just watched the Lovesexy live show and tried to copy it.

I don't like the real studio outtake at all tho.
