Did Howard and Prince ever chat? I think I remember hearing once that they did, but that P wouldn't let them record it... I wonder if he got on the robo spanker... Surely someone knows.

It wouldve been confusing and they would've had to yell to hear each other. Prince would only come up to about Howard's waist. Howard's so much taller than him, they're practically in different timezones.
Maybe Hank the dwarf could've been the interpreter...

Maybe Hank the dwarf could've been the interpreter... Nah I mean like did he ever have him on the show? You know, sittin' on that blue couch which is probably coated with God knows what...or maybe in the tickle chair, I dunno. And it probably wouldn't be as difficult as you think. I'm a smidgen taller than Prince but I have a friend who's 6'8 and we don't have communication issues.

I found it interesting during an interview when Prince said he tamed his concerts down, when the interview asked if he agreed with censorship of Janet Jackson, he was kind of like "yes", but when asked about Stern he said "I can't speak to that."
Come on!!!! Everyone who listens to Stern knows Prince is his favorite artist. When Black Sweat came out, Stern was playing it the same day. Yeah, he is honest and said he didn't like it. I would even go as far as to think Stern posts here from time to time.

Interesting...maybe that just means he's not a listener. Come on!!!! Everyone who listens to Stern knows Prince is his favorite artist. When Black Sweat came out, Stern was playing it the same day. Yeah, he is honest and said he didn't like it. I would even go as far as to think Stern posts here from time to time.
Yeah it's no secret Howard is a big fan. I seem to remember several occasions of him claiming how Purple Rain is the best song ever, lol. And I remember when 3121 came out he played clips from it. They wanted to rag on it but he was like, "Sounds alright to me...I'd have to give it a good listen." Baba Booey said P would agree to come on as a musical guest, but Howard asked if he could interview him..and of course, no, so he said why bother.

I knew I read he had been on Howard somewhere...turns out I had the article bookmarked. And I vaguely remember Howard mentioning it talking to Stevie Wonder (who was one of my fav guests ever)...
Prince said: Words lie. Words turn everything around but they change nothing. If you do not like my record you can criticise it but that doesn't change the existence of the record. That's why you are not allowed to record this interview. What I say is true and not true if cut out and looked at for itself.'
So does anyone remember this interview? Gimme some details if ya do!

Howard on Prince:
http://www.speedyshare.co...44359.html I love the honest way Howard can rag on someone and take the piss, but also give major props. Here he's talking about watching some tapes of Prince that somebody sent him - he talks about 'the incredibly gay outfits', 'womens shoes', 'liberace squared, gay to the third power', 'so girlie' etc. But at the same time the admiration and respect for Prince as a musical force is absolute: "that son-of-a-bitch has got to be the most talented guy in the world", "he's the best guitar player/ better guitar player than Clapton', -gives props to Hall of Fame WMGGW solo, 'great singer, great song writer', etc. They all rave about his talent without being obsessive. Interesting that when the comparisions to Dave Nirvaro come up, nobody mentions Dave getting Prince's sloppy seconds with Carmen Electra... Howard rocks.

Howard is totally genuine, and always honest, no matter the subject. It's one of the reasons I'm a fan of his.

I remember when that model Devin Devasquez was on Stern a few years ago. He kept asking her about what it was like dating Prince and stuff, all she would say was nice things about him but thought he was kinda werid but Stern was really curious and seemed intrigued.
She seems like a nice lady and all, she definatly really sexy but when she talked she sounds so drunk.
