Hey, sounds like Prince, but isn't... I remember the first time I heard Oh Sheila. I was like "Oh, the new Prince song is slammin'". But when I heard it was Ready For The World, I was surprised. Sounds so much like him. That ever happen to you? (With that, or other songs)

Natural Selection "DO Anything"
hmmm, They say it is not him But in 1991, on a MPLS station that went off the air, before they went off the air, they played Glam Slam 91 & Imdiatly after played Do Anything. This was before the song was released. Months before. Credited both songs to Prince before playing both of them. Four months later, this song was released to radio. Credited to Natural Selection & Nikki Harris (Madonna's Backround singer) It is rather obvious listening to several Nikki Harris projects w/ Madonna that the voice is not hers. Always thought it was Ingrid Chavez. & a year later in Controversy magazine she admitted she had something to do with it. Made this story up bout her working with them in a recording studio n what not. Kinda funny cuz during interviews in 1990 for Graffiti Bridge & for her upcoming cd's, she said she did not know her way round the recording studio. Now after hearing Eric Leeds talk bout Madhouse atthe Celebration, It makes me wonder even more that this song is indeed him. Aside from the lame rap included in the song, it is obvious this is Prince. (at least to me) In fact, the b-side was called the "demo version" & did not feature the rap but instead, an empty part where a funky lil guitar was played. Who released it? Warner Reprise. Anyone see the video? You mean to tell me that guy made the voice? Gimme a break! Even his rap does not match his voice... When I first heard "Sugar Walls" I thought it was Apollonia 6 but it was Sheena Easton. Funky Ass song that Apples should have had on their album. __________________________________________________

Please remember that "Sugar Walls" is arranged, composed, written and directed by Prince aka Alexander Nevermind.

I try to sound like Prince...whether or not I do is another thing

Yeah, but for some reason, I just knew that it wasn't Prince because his voice just doesn't sound like Prince to me. Only up until recently, I started wondering if it was Prince because the singer uses the name Sheila, so then I thought the song was about Sheila E...yeah right! Ghetto Heaven by Family Stand. I just KNEW that Prince had something to do with that song, but he didn't. I've gone to find myself. If I should return before I get back, keep me here.
