Electric Intercourse One of my favorite Prince songs. I read along time that Prince wrote this shortly after meeting Wendy's sister. I think this song has such a happy tone to it and I love the line "I feel some kind of sexual courage" That is such cool line.  I think it is a very sweet song. | |

It isn't on any album since it remains unreleased on record, along with other Purple Rain-era material such as "Wednesday" and "Father's Song". "Electric Intercourse" was allegedly inspired by Vanity. Interestingly, Prince can be heard mentioning her name just before he played this song during one rehearsal in preparation for that well-known gig at First Avenue in 1983. . While we're on the subject of misunderstood lyrics I always thought International Lover went like this:
