A family member recently informed me that she is friends with Prince's lawyer. Naturally, I was like "Londell" and she said no. It's a guy whose name I'm blanking on right now. I looked it up and it's true. And I've heard other allude to the fact that Londell's gone.

I know that they were friends and that at some point he was playing a producer/manager type role.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Maybe it's just that Prince retains multiple lawyers?

You got anything to back it up? Or it simply is NOT fact.

Somebody would have seen Londell by now.

Although Prince has done stranger things, after the ridiculous success of the Musicology tour, which Londell helped put together (and when he did lectures at Harvard used it as a business example I recall reading) I can't imagine Prince getting rid of Londell at all. UNLESS, perhaps Londell was trying to push Prince down to capitalise on it all in a way Prince didn't like so he got rid of him. I just find it bizarre, Londell was with Prince a while (he's reference on Y Should Eye Do That... 'why should I do that...Londell? When I can do this? Which is what makes me think at points Londell wanted Prince to play hits etc) and I can't see why Prince would get rid of him.

On the other hand, noones seen Londell for a while, but then why would he be partying with Prince at nightclubs!

I remember reading they r no longer business partners, but still hang out now and again, don't know 2 much more about it though.

We saw Londell in New York walking around before Prince performed for Good Morning America.

No, Londell and Prince no longer work together. I know this first hand since February 2006, but the split happened beforehand. I was at GMA on Friday and in the mix, but I did not see Londell there (perhaps I missed him). I do know that they are no longer in business together.

Someone above said, Londell wouldn't show up to shows or events. Untrue! When they worked together, Londell was always there till the break of dawn and would continue the party ... leaving together in a limo to their next secret party / hangout location.
