Well, I know Tamar is saying "Redhead Stepchild" but I just thought that was her poor pronounciation. Grammatically or colloquollialy it should be "redheaded".

BTW, the trumpet player is from Sheila's band. He's really good. I forgot his name... she usually calls him Ray-Ray or something like that.

Finally saw the show. Stepchild was the song. If this were the first I'd seen of Tamar I would make a note, off of that song, to pick up the CD. Of course, I'd be expecting it all to rock that way. Hopefully there are more tracks like that, on it.

That might be my favorite of all the vibes she seems to touch on (excluding wardrobe). Hopefully she'll lock into one and go with that.

Only question is; could she do that type song without Prince and make it work? They are good together(on this track) but I suspect the excitement around, and appeal of that song, is that it's promising...but more so regards Prince than Tamar.

After seeing this, I really don't understand why so many have complained "only 3 songs". Especially when it appears that Prince just slipped that last one in.

And I don't get the hate for the twins. They can hit the notes...better than most AI contestants, and dance, and they look amazing!

Who's the woman singing at the 8:50(during Redhead Stepchild) mark or was that a backing track? I know it wasn't the Twinz because their mics never appeared to be on or turned down real low, plus it was the voice on one person, not 2.

"Get On The Boat" was simply OK and the last thing I wanted to hear was "Let's Go Crazy" because it has been done to death. So much for the "retiring the hits" lie. I was very surprised with the Tamar song. I thoroughly enjoyed it and wasn't expecting to.

Prince not looking so good. The man should try a little sleep or meditation. I had 2 people tell me...Wow he is really starting to show his age. Hair not working either.

I think it was the Twinz. And they can sing....not like Miss Patti, but they carry a tune WHILE they're dancing..... let's see Madonna or Janet do that!

I am willing to bet money that it wasn't the Twinz. I didn't say anything about their singing ability. It clearly doesn't not sound like them and now that I have listened to it again, I know it's not Sheila either. I have no idea what Cora sounds like. My guess is that it was a backing track.

I have listened and watched the performance on headphones, and I'm convinced 100% that it is 1 or both of the Twinz. Firstly, it's not Cora because she is bobbing her head and drumming madly when the chorus is being sung. Secondly, the voices come in on the chorus at exactly the time they are at the mics and never when they are away from the mics. Most times the lryic is 'I feel like a redhead stepch...' not completing the word because they go into their dance swinging their heads around. The one time the do complete the word 'stepchild' with any clarity is near the end just before Tamar shouts 'Good Moooornnning' - and that just happens to be the one time they just stand there and don't shake their heads. The audio and vision matches up perfectly.

On my headphones at least, Prince is singing backup on the left and the Twin(z) are coming in on the right. I think both are singing but the balance on one mic seems to be higher. But personally I do think it sounds like their voices.

Their voices can also be heard on Let's Go Crazy which follows.

Just accept it, it's them. It's logical, it fits, I don't see the problem.

Who said anything about it being a problem? I think the problem is that you assumed my comment was a diss to the Twinz, when it clearly wasnt. Instead of trying to play Captain-Save-The-Twinz, why don't you accept the fact that I am entitled to my own opinion, because at the end of the day, neither one of us knows with 100% certainty what the deal was.
