Dream Theatre Have any of you guys heard Dream Theatres cover of Purple Rain, i just heard it then and OMG is it awesome!!!
Its an instrumental cover and hte lead guitarist plays his guitar as if its the lead vocalist! And he does some awesome solos in it as well. But i just found it amazing that they put their own spin on it and it turned out 2 be very magical! Receiving transmission from David Bowie's nipple antenna. Yeah! I have it on my computer and got it a couple years ago. It's so amazing! I have a live version and you can hear people talking at the beginning but it's one of the few instrumental songs I can listen all the way through.... the things that man does on the guitar are mind blowing. I have a copy of an early 90's Guitar World with prince on the front and a feature story on dream theatre | |
