What other WTF songs do you think there are?

It's one of my favorite tracks of his.

I like the official version, love the original outtake version from 81.

The original outtake is one of those songs that you can't imagine how it went from what it was to what it became nearly 10 years later.

I can't say I hate the released version, but I stopped liking it as much once I heard the original version.

i've always liked this song. i think it's goofy, but that's part of why i like it.

That has to be a WTF moment...

The original version kicks this version's tail by about 1000x. It was so pretentious and bratty, I had to love it. Would have fit onto Controversy pretty well.

the released one sounds like some big ole Busby Berkeley number... very cool to my ears... it also has strange organic noises...

i loooove that song! the first time i heard was when i first watched graffiti bridge and i fell in love with it! and of course his performance was probably the sexiest thing i've ever seen in my life!

It's one of his "kitchen sink" numbers: Jimi Hendrix beat sample, '50s ad keyboards, sax & rock guitar loops and his campy falsetto.

It's great.

For me the two biggest WTF moments are Wedding Feast and Bob George.

hehe, i thought the "wtf?" was aimed towards the scene in graffiti bridge during that..."battle", when the song was playing and prince was flouncing about.

i can stomach the demo version from '81 better than the '90 version.

Is that the one that starts out with the screeching and subsequent counting?
