Hi. A long time lurker here just wanting to put the word out that Prince hit the stage on Thursday night at the Maceo Parker concert in Brooklyn, NY's Prospect Park for a surprise encore performance!! The free outdoor concert was well attended and the crowd was alive, but when Mr. Nelson strolled out onto the stage, everyone lost their minds (including me)!! It was a very short, funk filled set (two songs max), but in that short amount of time he turned it out! Dude was looking clean in an all white suit and dark sun glasses! I wish I had recognized the songs he was performing, but it was so loud out there I couldn't really catch the hook (and I was in shock ). The coolness with which he strolled off of the stage at the very end was priceless! Classic Prince! If anyone else was there that recognized the songs (and could hear them clearly), please share the wealth. Thanks..

Whatever the songs, I'm very jealous.

Yes it is reminiscent of the Christopher Tracey era, but IMHO it does not suit him.

He's still, in a word, sexy. The clothes are wonderful and a welcomed change.
