Oh fucking hell! My The Gold Experience cd just fucking exploded into bits while I was copying the songs to iTunes. Great. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Well there was a minor crack in the plastic part of the CD, i.e in the middle. I have kept the CD safe and haven't played in order to preserve it. Well, I thought if I could get the stuff on iPod I'd never actually have to play the CD again etc... but apparently the small crack was enough. The CD apparently was not strong enough to withstand the high rpm on the DVD drive It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Just curious how would a person go about getting a replacement cd if this happened? (assuming they had a receipt 4 the cd from a store)

Several copies of "The Gold Experience" are still up for grabs at my local second-hand shop in Notting Hill Gate, at £5 each.

Wow, the Mythbusters were right...you can destroy a CD in a high RPM drive..cool!...I mean...not cool for you though, you have my sympathy. I'd hate to lose any of my Prince CDs - even NPS "Don't hate me cos I'm beautiful"

I made two mixed CDs of all the nasty, sexy Prince songs for my friend and she said it literally burned her CD drive up when she was trying to copy them to iTunes. I guess the songs were too hot to handle. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.
