Off the chain!
I only saw "On The Boat" (which I knew he would do), and "Let's Go Crazy", at the end. I missed whatever was inbetween that, but I recorded it. "On The Boat" was a little rough, but man, he tore it up on "Let's Go Crazy". He looked damn good. This new hair style is kickin'. He's lookin' Sign O The Times Funky now. BY THE WAY... Where I was, most were struggling to see and hear. But outside of that, they were into the entire performance. Not sure if they picked up that it was her song (hard to tell what was going on)...But it was Prince that got all the reaction.i would have thought the majority would only be casual fans. wow! it was so awesome. I took some pics, which I'll try to post later...
i got home and watched my tape--the sound was definitely better on TV. I love redheaded stepchild--I remember it from the Nokia concert, but I think a lot of people didn't know it and as such the crowd was more subdued during that song. sheila e. is awesome! I'm so happy she was there--it's the first time I've seen her live. Go Sheila. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. What are you going to shake if you got nothin' to shake? Tamar looks great and I LOVE seeing uninhibited performers who are more about giving their all to a performance than looking perfect. Yes it looked like she gained some weight since I saw her in Minneapolis but no worries...she can lose it if she trys. Drinking lots of water and cutting back on pop is an easy fast way to do it. Always works! While I was watching I was thinking, P is gonna put her on the same diet Missy went on, I still thought she was great though. The whole show was great for a morning news show. I'm not sure what people were expecting.
Tamar is young and childless. Losing weight should be a snap for her. I didn't care for her outfit though because I think it made her look bigger than she is.
