That black women are unattractive, gold tooth wearing, gum-smacking, neckrolling, over-the-top hair-do wearing ghetto queens. I don't see the connection you do. I think the point was to make fun of Prince's girlishness and apparent prudishness. What better way to do that than to have an aggressive man dressed up as a woman who -- in some scenes -- seems to be getting to Prince. I thought it was hilarious. Race didn't seem to be a factor in that parody at all. Ironic, given the title.

black woman = drag queen Not funny at all. Ugh...lighten up. I bet the guys who made that were not trying to be offensive, only funny. Mad TV does stuff like this all of the time in their music video parodies. I'm a white woman. Do you think I get pissed every time I hear the countless black comedians talk about how stupid and dorky white people are? No, because it's just a joke and sometimes they are actually funny.

I don't think they were trying to make black girlz out to be drag queens.....I think they were just making fun of the vid in general. I don't think color was an issue.

black woman = drag queen Not funny at all. I think you've missed the point of this video. What's funny about it is that the beautiful black lady in the original has been replaced by a butt ugly white she-male. Suddenly the whole context of the song has been changed and that's where the humour lies. Prince, who looks so cool and confident in the "real" version, suddenly finds himself in a very uncomfortable situation . If anything, the jokes on him, not the girl. black woman = drag queen Not funny at all. OH-FOR-FUCK-SAKE!!!!! PLEASE!!! That's one huge chip on your shoulder! You're reading all sorts of conspiracy shit into absolutely nothing! You turned a very funny parody (that incidentally, before your completely over the top post, most people seemed to being enjoying for it's pure entertaining lightness) into some completely non-existant bullshit racial issue. Get over yourself!!!

Mercy! Actually it didn't say nigga so therefore, I correct myself. I simply did not want to refer to what it actually said. I thought it was funny and along the correct lines of a parody of the song and video. [Edited 6/14/06 19:42pm]
