Since P performed at the Webbies last night, and is (supposedly) doing GMA on Friday morning, has anyone heard anything about any potential shows in between?
He's here for a week, I figure he's going to get a Jones to perform!

Well Wednesday night Maceo is in town at Irving Plaza and on Saturday in Atlantic City. One you figure ... maybe I scratch your back, u scratch mine.

Could Maceo show up for a few numbers on Friday?

I've been hoping that he does an extra show since I found out the Webby's & GMA were the same week...especially after reading the concert reports from Las Vegas....

I just thinking aloud now...if there is another show, what night? Friday? Thursday seems out, cause he'll have to be at GMA so early--unless we all stay up all night.

And tomorrow night--well I think we would have heard by now.

I know it's being greedy, but I really want a full out concert...and this is the perfect week!

Tomorrow's Maceo concert indicates it'll be Maceo "and special guests."

When I saw Maceo at Irving Plaza last year I spoke to Mr. Hayes afterwards (b/c Maceo was dropping Minneapolis hints the whole night -- and sung Prettyman).. he said that Prince was in LA, but probably would have come if he were in town.

So, anyone gonna check out the show? If so, orgnote me and maybe we could meet up there.

what would be cool is if Prince showed up at Marcus Miller's show, since MM covered Prince's "boys and girls" on his CD. I posted a message on Marcus' site to ask him and he replied...he thinks it would be cool too..

So i went to the Maceo concert tonight at Irving Plaza.

It was a pretty subdued show. I don't know if the problem was the band or the crowd, but it was pretty awkward. Others who went, I'd like to know what you thought of it.

In any case, that led me to believe that a Prince appearance wasn't very likely. So I stayed to the bitter end.. and I didn't really have a good time doing so.

And he didn't show. Oh well. Things sure aren't the way they used to be. He's getting to old for this, and maybe I am too. I have to go to work tomorrow!

I'm going to stop holding out for stuff like this, b/c it's always a let down. I was on standby the night of the SNL performance and..... nothing.
