Right now i am listening to the Black Album, not one of my real favorite albums by Prince, but it has a few very good HARD funk tracks on it: The Grind, Cindy and ... wait....

Could it be this is Prince greatest funk track? I mean:
- great drumming by Sheila E
- rhythem guitar as sharp as a knife (listen to that bridge around 3/4 part of the track)
- Weird, eerie background sounds
- Nasty lyrics that are both dark and full of understated humor
- Those develish laugh at the start of the song
- The orchestra slabs
- The overall funkieness of this song.

Yes, i am talking about Superfunkycalifragisexi!.

I allways thought as the titletrack of Lovesexy as my favorite funk track by Prince, but right now this cut from the Black Album might be even funkier.

"It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night" defines everything what is unique about Prince's funk.

I think We can Funk (both versions) is Prince's best funky song. It's so sexy and loud and AWESOME! Plus it gets major coolness points for having Gerorge Clinton in there on the GB version!
