Prince influenced by Kiss?

Everytime I'm listenings 2 the Rebels sessions it reminds me of Kiss and when I c old videos (American bandstand) he moves like Paul Stanley, even his hair looks the same.
Hell , give him some makeup and he IS Paul Stanley.

So,does anybody see the connection?

Yup. Now I remember why I liked Prince in the first place. It was because I was such a Kiss fan as a small kid. Solved a lot.

If he wasn't a fan of the early Kiss records he damned well should have been. I rocked to more kiss than anyone when I was a little kid... hell, I will still rock out really hard to them now...

The best Kiss albums (in my opinion) are:

Rock and Roll Over
Love Gun
Dressed to Kill
Double Platinum (if you want a compilation)
Destroyer

It is good to see someone bring up the ROCK gods. They totally lost it just before they took their makeup off, but their first albums were inspired genius. I also took exception to Peter Criss being booted... then you had the departure of Ace... It just wasn't Kiss without the original members... you cannot replace anyone in that band!

My favourite Kiss albums are Destroyer and Hotter Than Hell. They did equal "rock" to me as a child... still do in some funny way...

Doesnt LOVE GUN have Ace's song Shock Me? Red House Painters made an unbelievable beautiful version of that song! Genious!
