So anyways, I once saw a post here comparing Prince to Morrissey
So I was so moved and taken by the comparison that I decided to ask a yahoo question to see what the general population thought:

I love both of them. They're both idols of mine, but at the moment, I'd choose Morrissey over the current Prince. His material is fresher than Prince's new stuff, but I'd take Prince's material over the Smiths' stuff any day.

On another note, they're both androgynous and were born around the same time. But unfortunately, Morrissey's aging has benefited from the same fate as Prince's lack of aging.

I have a lot of respect for Morrissey, he's really good, but he doesn't write his own music (he only writes the lyrics). Hence, he's not in the same league as Prince for me.
