The ironic thing is that I hadn't been so obsessed with Prince and then I decided to pull out a bunch of Prince albums and check out what he was doing lately just before 3121 came out. I hadn't heard a single thing about the album coming out before then, but I found out about it when I decided to check on Prince news again because I was quite obsessed. Wait, this has been going on since about February... I didn't realize my "fit" had lasted that long. Someone get me a psychiatrist or something.

Mmmmm.....guess I must be totally mad then!! I have only really discovered Prince properly this year, although I had a few CDs & been to a few concerts in the olden days (long story, I'll bore anyone with it who asks!!) So I have been playing his stuff non-stop for the last six months, my entire CD collection has been thrown out of my car to make way for the 'new' stuff!! Kinda exciting buying CD's to add to my collection, feels like xmas day when the post man arrives as I can't wait to jump into my car to drive to work & listen to it!! My husband thinks I am obsessed, maybe I am, maybe it'll wear off, but at the mo, I don't want it to!!

Since I got back to Christchurch, I have been obsessed all over again, all the Cds (A SUPER 166 SONG, 12 HOUR MIX) are on the computer so its non stop Prince in my ear when I am on this now. I jump in my car and either For You or Gold is on the tape player and at work if I am in charge the customers get Musicology, Sign and 3121 in their ear. This has carried on for like 8 months now. I have reread all my Prince books and got Possessed out of the Library twice.

I also get the "fits" when im about 2 go 2 a conert...its like I know its comin soon and bam,i have a "fit"
