I believe on the Tavis Smiley interview he asked Prince what it was like to work with Beyonce, and he said that he was really honored and that he respects her and admires her a lot and he was just happy to perform with her. Could be him just being nice but who knows? I believe it was the Tavis Smiley Show, but I have to dig it up. I'll check on it, but I know for sure it was on one the interviews from 2004.

No problem. I just did a quick Google search and it turns out the whole Tavis Smiley show with Prince is up on HQ right now in the video forum. His first question is about the Grammy performance. Tavis says that he was a little nervous how the performance with Beyonce was going to come across but it came out ok. Then Prince said that he prides himself on working with great musicians and he considers her as such. It's in the video section if ya want to check it out. The whole interview is actually really good plus Reflection with Wendy just tops it off.
