Prince songs with heavy synths & keyboards I need to make a Prince cd for a friend of mine who has virtually no clue what songs Prince sings. The ones she has heard she doesn't really like. (It's going to be an uphill battle to convert her...but I digress.) She says she wants songs that are sort electronic/heavy on the keyboards. So I need songs that have the kind of keyboard/synth stuff like at the end of IWBYL, Dr. Fink's solo in Head, or Sex Shooter. Other than those songs, I am having a hard time coming up with stuff. I know my request is a bit vague, but does anyone have other suggestions?
Thanks! The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Basically I am trying to get the minneapolis sound as far as the synths go, but without the linn drum...if that makes sense; and also not put any huge "hits" on there. (I don't have any Time albums...yet. ) december1984 said: 1999 Let's Pretend We're Married Erotic City Computer Blue Darling Nikki (Granted, not that synth heavy but it just goes with Computer Blue, ya know? ) I Would Die 4U Hot Thing Glam Slam The Future (William Orbit Remix) I Wanna Melt With U Loose! There are definitely some good ones in that list... Where is The Future (Wlm Orbit Remix) from? bkw said: Add: New World Strange But True I totally forgot about this one--love it. But can't do New World...I hate Emancipation... Thanks everyone for the suggestions. If she doesn't like what I end up with, there's probably no hope for her... The check. The string he dropped. The William Orbit Mix of "The Future" was on an officially released import CD single (WEA 7599-21570-2) that came out in '89. It also featured a remix of "Electric Chair". Both were remixed by Mark Moore and William Orbit. A few years later Orbit would go on to produce "Ray of Light" for Madonna--so imagine "The Future" with the whole "Ray of Light" techno sound running underneath it and you pretty much get the idea.
