I love many unreleased versions of P's songs more than the released ones.

But i've never been able to fully appreciate the '81 Tick, Tick, Bang. I prefer the released version, which I really, really like.

Same with the edited album version of We can funk, which I prefer vs any of the other attempts.

Nearly every other track I think I prefer the demo vs the album version.

This is one of my favorite Prince songs!! The construction of it is tight as hell! He had some crazy shit goin on here. And I loved the performance from GB as well, easily his best performance in that movie.

Haven't heard the 81 version, but now I can't wait 2.

Any song w/ the lyric, "so baby don't spit me out" is cool w/ me

It had to grow on me though, at first the music sounded like garbage trucks in the morning
