Let me re-phrase before things start getting ugly. Prince is a brilliant brilliant man who I have listened to with much delight for 21 years. He has produced many many many brilliant works, more in my opinion than any artist in the modern era. His missteps for the most part have been a result of too much ambition, having brilliant things to say but not properly translating them for the masses or the converted.

That being said, on this most special of days I WILL NOT mention how bad, lazy, and useless his two worst contract obligations are. Because I LOVE the man and his music I am holding my tongue for 24 hours and focusing only on the multitude of positive creations the man is responsible for.

So no one will catch me saying anything bad about C and D or NPS today. No siree!
