not a note out of place? Did you ever wonder why or how?

I've always saying that . Why? Well he's a musical Genius and he just has the gift. His whole life is music and I think he actually can feel warmth through certain notes and he actually Feels the Music. The man is Music plain and simple. He knows exactly how to create the perfect arrangement or accompaniment. He knows how to create Masterpieces.

This tends to happen when you spend a lot of time in the studio fixing any errors that might exist.

"Not a note out of place?" Come on now... Many of his songs have areas that sound rushed. But I guess that's to be expected of someone who's as prolific as he is. Not to say that it doesn't make his songs great, because they still are. I just wouldn't call them "perfect". Though the music on TRC comes pretty close.

dumbass

he also never has a butt hair out of place, they perpetually form the symbol on his ass. the man is sheer perfection.

of further interest of his flawlessness, he also never talks while he chews, changes lanes without first signaling, and his farts always smell like lavender. he truly is a superior human being.

It's not exactly his talent. Yeah, it flows into him, but it's the ripple "affect" he produces from it that matters. ~*soulsplash*~

perfect...no. works wonders with strange
ideas and obscure influences. I've heard
small passages "stolen" from
the doobie bros, blue oyster cult, etc

Lord spare me from "perfect music; not a note out of place". What the hell is that? confused?:

There are no wrong notes. Just bad musicians who can't figure things out. It's called improvisation.

True. Improvising sometimes means hitting a wrong note. But Prince is a pro and knows how to make it sound as if he meant to do it. Like Joni said, just repeat it and then go from there. Turn it into a whole new phrase or motif.

His music is wonderful.Listen to the Orchestration on Parade. Listen to The Rainbow Children, Listen to the Truth album, Listen to ONA. Absolutely, Positively Breath-taking.
