Just curious as 2 how rich Prince really is. Could someone tell me if he's really making money because his overhead is pretty high. Renting out a house and giving these expensive 3121 free parties r costly. I hope he is making lots of money and never go broke

those parties were tax deductible as where the Musicology CDS. (what he told soundscan is irrelevant to what he tells the IRS)

well if u take in2 consideration his annual earnings for the past two years, which hav averaged around $45-55 million mark per year he must b pretty rich. He earned around $40million during 96 Emancipation era, and im sure i heard he got an up front payment of $15million for Rave. I would say he's worth around $200million

You know it's funny because you never hear about P's money. We always hear about everyone else but never P. I know in 2004 he made $54 million and in in 91' he made $49 million and was number 5 on the Forbes Entertainer list(news reports). I have a Current Affair on tape from 1989 and it was talking about how Batman saved his career and how Paisly Park was losing $1000's by the week. I know there was a lot of talk around '95 of P being broke but I know he got a nice advance for Emancipation and $11 million up front for Rave. I have also heard that he blows a lot on acts like Carman, Mayte and other "up and coming" acts before. I have heard that the JW folks took over Paisly Park and a lot of his business to help him with his money and make these projects and buildings make a profit.

Well emancipation sold around 1.5million worldwide, tripe cd, triple cost so thats like 4.5million albums, plus the tour, plus chaos and disorder in the same year!
