Help required making mixed album Speaking to a workmate today, I agreed to make him a mixed CD of guitar heavy Prince songs as he plays guitar himself (he's just spent £1200 on a Fender!).
His musical taste seems to be mainly Blues Rock, people like Clapton, Boris Johnston (sp?) etc. The first song I thought of was The Ride, and he requested The Cross. I want to give him a good mix of the mans talents on the instrument he was born to play, however. I would appreciate all suggestions, although I only own the official releases and the B sides from the Hits, no real bootlegs. Anyone done anything like this before and have any suggestions? So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young? | |

I've been thinking about doing a mix like this, so along with the two you mentioned, I would include : Endorphinmachine Da Bang Calhoun Square Darking Nikki Computer Blue I like it there Zanalee Bambi Others I was thinking of including but not too sure if they are heavy enough : Chaos and Disorder Hallucination Rain Dolphin Peach Gold Loose! Let's go crazy Little red corvette and of course, Purple Rain Still a bit short though. There must be other guitar heavy songs, but my brain isn't in gear at the moment. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP. |
