Starfish and Coffee A buddy picked up Sign of the Times yesterday on CD. We got some wine, and turned it up LOUD and listened closely. Anyway, when Sarfish and Coffee came on, it sounded better than ever. Played it like 4 times in a row. My question is this: I'm sure this has been discussed before when I wasnt around, but what is that song about? Is it about a so called mentally retarded girl, a gay girl, a handicapped girl or what? Its open to so many interpretations. Guess thats what makes it so funky. They say money don't buy you luv. But it'll help w/ the search.

My kind of thinking. I'm currently enjoying a nice Australian Sauvignon Blanc. What were you drinking? Some people are like Slinkies...
They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

I think it is about a girl with an 'open' mind... because he sings "if you set your mind free baby, maybe you would understand.." You are not my "friend" because you threaten my security.
