Wendy & Lisa Fans/Experts: Did they ever play live on KCRW Los Angeles?

Wendy & Lisa ever play live on KCRW, a Los Angeles alternative radio station?

I think I heard they were going to play or had an interview around the release of Girl Bros. in 1998 live over the radio.

KCRW is a cool alternative radio station we have in Los Angeles. They play alot of eclectic stuff, new bands, rare new dance music, lot's of M'Chelle, etc... they have a website at http://www.kcrw.com. Chocalate City, a radio show featuring Funk, Hip Crap...Hop I mean, rare Soul gems has been known to play The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker and rare Prince stuff. In fact, Sheila E. was interviewed recently with alot of music played.

I'm just starting my research here and hope any hardcore Wendy & Lisa fans, collectors, archivists, scholars can help me find out if they did!

Thanks!

I've been listening to KCRW for many years now and I've never heard any type of on air interviews. When GirlBros came out they did play "uh-uh don't look down." By the way I purchased Neil Finn's One All earlier today...Secret God has the now classic Wendy & Lisa background harmonies...anyone know when their next record is coming out...I love me some Wendy & Lisa...

What do you mean by "When GirlBros came out they did play "uh-uh don't look down."?

Did they perform that somewhere? Where?

Incidentally, On July 21, 2002 from a local alternative college radio station (KSYM 90.1 FM) in San Antonio, TX... they had a two hour Wendy and Lisa show. The program was called, "The Quantum Leap Show". It was co-hosted by widely know member of the W&L fan community and Fouchat. One of the songs played was "uh-oh don't looked down". And from what I hear, they are still receiving requests for the girls.

Just thought I would add some related information!
