What if Prince did Studio Jams on BET J? For anybody that has seen "Studio Jams" on BET J, it's a great program for musicians of all skill level and those that are interested in the music making progress to see how musicians talk to each other musically, interact, rehearse and record songs. It's mostly instrumental music that they feature here. Many musicians picked for each session do not know each other, and is mostly improvisational. If P is really serious about "real music by real musicians" he should consider doing that kind of gig, or having his own tv special with his band. I've seen great shows on this network with Chick Corea, Jeff Ballard, and Avisha Cohen playing the Blue Note in New York, Chuck Brown playing Jazz Central, Stanley Clark, it would be amazing for a musician of his stature to get involved with something like that. Exposure, display his musicianship and craft, and carve out a "place" among the aforementioned musicians. If there is no tour this would be the best next thing. What y'all think? 3121 #1 THIS YEAR

I'm just saying it would be interesting to see him in that setting period. To see how he communicates with outside musicians from outside his camp, his ability to jam in a jam/jazz setting. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR
