Yeah, I obviously LOVE the guy, but COME ON.....I wouldn't used that song to put the HB on.

He may have written alot of the songs including "Sex in the Summer" before he decided to put the heartbeat on the album, Once he made the decision he was probably focussed more on finding a tune with which it worked musically ( with regard to tempo etc. ) rather than conceptually. But then, wtf do I know.

For the longest time I thought he used the heartbeat sample on Jam Of The Year! I found out a few years after I got the album that I was wrong.

I had the lyrics mixed up in my head . . .

Where he says "When the groove rubberbaby's hot", I thought he was saying "with a groove from my baby's heart".
